How to Build a Solarpunk World with AI

Andrej Karpathy envisions a solarpunk future — rejecting dystopian narratives of technological and societal decline. Instead, he imagines a world where human ingenuity and advanced technology unite to solve ecological and social challenges, creating a sustainable and flourishing planet.
While sci-fi, media, and skeptics often paint a dark picture of AI’s impact, we have the power to change this narrative. By using AI-generated video, images, stories, and music, we can inspire a brighter future and seed the stories of an abundant society.
